walk from the village of Tamariu (pearl of

The Costa Brava, literally the wild coast, is

with many pines and oak trees. In less than
5 minutes drive you will find Palafrugell or
Begur, typical Spanish villages, where you
can shop for hours and where you can
enjoy a drink on one of the old village
squares. For a lot of fun you visit Platja
d`Aro where a nice fairground and a
splashing water park are a sensation for the
kids. Platja d`Aro is also a good place for
nightlife. It provides many discos and
ambient. Sport facilities in and around the
village include deep sea diving, golf and
tennis. For those who wish to explore there
is the medieval city of Gerona, local pottery
at La Bisbal, Salvador Dali`s museum in
Figueres, Roman/Greek ruins in Ampurias,
the Pyrenees and of course, Barcelona.
